Abraham Sekhar was born in a remote village in South India and received his education at a public school. He was born into a Christian family, and his parents raised him with strong Godly values. He accepted the Lord as his personal Savior at the age of 16. At 17, he was baptized and filled with the Holy Spirit. At the age of 19, he received a lifetime promise and direction from God through Jeremiah 1:8-10.

He worked among the youth until the age of 23, when he took on the responsibility of becoming a pastor. In 1989, the Lord taught him principles of church growth. Despite facing many challenges, taking steps of faith, and making personal sacrifices—including family and other comforts—he traveled to 13 states in India. He was instrumental in initiating and establishing over 800 churches, including house and village churches, resulting in a harvest of approximately 100,000 souls. Each church initiation is a testimony in itself.

In 1995, he went through a severe period of testing in his life. Within three months, God restored him and his ministry. Several independent churches came under his and his wife’s oversight, and by the year 2000, they were mentoring about 1,200 independent pastors and leaders.

In 2005, Dr. Abraham Sekhar and his wife were appointed as National Directors for Healing Rooms Ministries. Over the next seven years, they trained over 6,000 leaders and implemented healing ministry practices among more than 3,000 church leaders and pastors. In 2006, Abraham had an inspirational 22-hour verbal encounter with God, where he was clearly directed to prepare a platform for the coming rule of King Jesus. Following this encounter, his messages focused on the theme “LET HIS KINGDOM COME.”

Between 2006 and 2013, the Lord expanded their ministry beyond India’s borders into neighboring countries, fulfilling the lifetime promise in Jeremiah 1. In 2012-13, God also instructed them to recognize the global shift occurring in the Body of Christ and to spread this vision. This shift involves the Holy Spirit transforming the Church to minister with signs and wonders, bringing more believers into the Kingdom and proclaiming the truth: “LET HIS KINGDOM BE UPON THE EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN.”

In 2012, Abraham was inspired to be a voice to the nations. With his team, he established the GLOBAL APOSTOLIC TRANSFORMATION MISSIONS to recognize and support fivefold ministers of God, releasing them into their callings.

Dr. Abraham Sekhar holds a Master’s degree in Engineering from IIT Powai, one of the world’s most prestigious institutions, and his wife, Sheila, is a medical doctor who supports him in his ministries. His primary focus is to model God’s righteous rule through various missions and serve as a voice to the nations.
